Not too many young bands get opportunities to tour across the United States and open for major bands. Phoenix, Arizona based Incite is one of the luckier bands out there now that has toured regularly and has quickly gained the experience that many bands don't get to do.

Led by frontman Richie Cavalera (stepson of Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera), Incite came out and got the crowd's attention right away. Their sound is purely brutal, falling somewhere between the grooving crunch of Pantera with the aggression of modern thrash. Cavalera is the face of the band, where his headbanging and his constant movement, around the stage got the crowd moving and slowly vibing with the band. His raw, throaty vocals shouted at the crowd took command immediately and small circle pits were formed throughout their set.

Despite their inexperience, the band made it up in sheer determination. Besides Cavalera, the rest of the band members rarely stuck out on stage, and chose to stay with their background roles.

Incite showed that in a short period of time, they have more experience under their belts than many signed bands. They are going on determination and a good opportunity, which has put them a head above some bands. Next, with some help with writing more songs and time to grow musically, it will be interesting to see where Incite goes in the next year.
