All That Remains has quickly become one of the hottest metal bands on the scene in recent months. Metal fans has become acquainted with them through their prior tours opening for Arch Enemy, GWAR, and Chimaira. Fans have grown to love their melodic metal sound that combines the metal riffiness along with raw throaty and melodic vocals switching off.

Fans eagerly awaited the return of All That Remains, but the performance was not one of their stronger ones. The band came out strong, tearing through a strong cross section of songs from their The Fall of Ideals as well as cuts from their latest release Overcome. The guitar playing in this band is always strong, as Oli Herbert and Mike Martin both put on guitar shredding displays whenever they play. Bassist Jeanne Sagan brings out the low end and is a favorite with the fans.

Their vocalist Phil Labonte came out fired up and belted out the heavier vocal parts and took command of the crowd. But while he did that, he appeared to struggle through the melodic vocal parts, as his voice hit rough patches when he had to hit those parts. He sounded like he was ill and he had to stick to his death metal barks throughout the entire set. He had a rough time singing the two newer songs, 'Before the Damned' and 'Two Weeks', which his voice was spotty during the choruses.

Despite the struggles, All That Remains is a band that has a healthy fan base that overlooked one of their few moderate shows. These tours take a toll on the band, and hopefully this was the case why their set sounded this way.
