Answered by Jay (Bass) and Padge (Guitarist):

1. What concept came to mind when you recorded "Scream, Aim, Fire”?
No concept came to mind really, we just wrote a record while on the road and thats the way we did, we just put them down, we just got into it and approached it like we always do a record and just wrote it out.

2. When do you guys think of the US vibe compared to Europe?
Same thing, at the show everyone's the same, and everyone at the show, just comes out to rock, not that much different really.

3. What are some of your influences and do they take part in any of the albums you've released?
Corona is one of my heavy influences, just do what we do.

4. What are your views on metal music as of right now compared to when it first started out?
Its alright, I think it was much better more musical, everything was recorded on tape, so musicians had to play everything and work harder, no computers involved, much better more classic, better still a lot of good metal bands, even all the newer ones All That Remains, and Chimaira.
Still rocking today.

5. What made you want to become a musician/was it because of family tradition of just your own thing? Just metal, all back home in a little village, and some big hands came down through clouds, and told us you will play metal for the rest of your lives, and we saw all these bands getting together and wanted to be like our idols and go out and do the same thing.

6. Currently all over the news is the out-raging gas prices, what are your thoughts on that issue?
It's absolutely disgusting, it use to cost me like 30lbs to fill my tank and now its like 50lbs and thats about $100 or something like that.

7. What do you think about this recession we're currently dealing with? Any thoughts?
Don't really think about. The banks, and stuff closing down don't really get involved, same in our country, every thing's all going to shit, got to obey the laws, smoking outdoors and shit.

8. What do you think about all these different sub cultures such as "emo kids, scene kids, metal-heads, punks, goths, etc?" Music's music, just religiously, the people who cut themselves need to fuckin sort their heads and realize that they only got one shot at life and that they're living and should stop being so fucking pissed off and boring.

9. What was it like when you performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live back in February? What were your reactions?
It was weird, really weird thing to do, not use to it ya know, small space, we had time slots and wait for a cue, from a presenter it didn't seem real, we learned from it, but really different.

10. How many interviews do you think roughly you've done throughout your career as Bullet for my Valentine? Ever get tried of hearing the same questions?
Too many, a lot, touring 365 days, and pretty much do one everyday. Yeah, yeah.

11. What are your expectations for "Bullet for my Valentine" in the future? Be the best they can be, work hard, tour, just stay on top of it, do the hours practicing, write the albums and tour them, just work.

12. How old were you when you started to think about playing music? 15 (Jay) 16 (Padge).

13. If you had a choice to make a tribute band who would you chose? Pantera, it would be crushing, would love to sing for that band.

14. What was your inspiration for the band name?
Uh basically we were just in a pub, and needed a new name, wrote down all names we liked and then came up with that new name but the inspiration was beer.

15. What do you think of how far your band has come?
Don't think that anyone expected it, but very proud, and wanted to say thank you, for who's out reading your magazine, thank you.

16. Have you guys written any new material for the next album?
Yeah written a few things, just riffs and stuff, no titles yet, transfusion. rockabilly, eukalalee, pedal steel is what were aiming for next, *laughs*

17. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this interview, any thoughts or other comments?
