Why?
On March 13th, 2009 (a Friday no less) Bob Lefsetz and Gene Simmons did battle in Canada (of all places!) and it wasn't pretty....

Actually, it was pretty boring. GS is capable (we hope) of dialogue and debate. Alas, Gene is also capable of turning out nonsense on the spot -- U2 is from Belfast? News to me. That's not even the right country -- too many people have been fighting over that issue to excuse GS for getting it wrong.
But more importantly, Bob Lefsetz is, if nothing else, an informed livewire: someone trying to help define a path for artists to make a living from making music. I think he gets that music doesn't need to be an industry or, at least, that it can and probably will be a cottage industry. But as a guy with insight, experience, and access to folks I respect then I think Bob Lefsetz is a great guy to witness "live", in the flesh. And he's quick and has a great sense of humor.
And if Gene wants, he can get a few minutes on the mike too.
