Why?
Mike Doughty just isn't the same without out the cough and I'd like a chance to see them before I die! They were the first of their kind: post-grunge and fiercely experimental while maintaining pop sensibilities; the Animal Collective before there was an Animal Collective. They are an over-looked, fundamental link in the chain.
